Aryna Sabalenka

Sabalenka was conceived in Minsk. Sergey (d.2019) was an in ice hockey. Aryna Sabalenka was born on May 5th, 1998, at Minsk Belarus. She holds 12 WTA titles throughout her career, including that of the Grand Slam of 2023 Australian Open. She is also an excellent doubles player. She's won two Majors to her name in this category, the US Open 2019 and the Australian Open 2021 won both by Elise Mertens. The Sunshine Double was achieved by Elise Mertens and her in the year 2019. Together, they took home WTA 1000s in Indian Wells & Miami. This feat was only achieved by four couples competing in the women's doubles. It was only four couples who were able to achieve this feat when playing women's doubles. But in doubles, she rose to the number one spot following her win in Melbourne that following year. Dmitry Tursunov (a former Russian tennis player) was her coach for a portion of 2019 and from 2018 to the close of the season. Dieter Kindlmann also served as the coach she had for a short period during the months of August through September 2020. Antonio Dubrov, her fellow countryman, has been coaching her for the past few years, starting in 2020. Serena Williams, and Maria Sharapova are her idols.
